Proclaiming Jesus Christ as Lord

1010 west maple street, valley view, pa 17983

The people of Calvary Chapel Evangelical Free Church are individuals and families from across the Hegins Valley who gather as a community to know, worship, and serve God.

Sundays at Calvary Chapel are all about worshiping God. When you arrive, you will find a warm, relaxed atmosphere, with many friendly faces who are glad you are there. The purpose of our gathering is to give glory to God. We do this through building relationships with one another, praying, singing, giving, and the proclamation of His Word. We are committed to the preaching of the Bible. The Good News about Jesus Christ is the most powerful message in the world and it is the central message of the Bible. Each week, we seek to find how we can grow deeper into the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Calvary Chapel abides by the Statement of Faith of the Evangelical Free Church of America. click on the link below to see what we believe…

what is the truth hunters forum?

The Truth Hunters Forum is a space for all to wrestle with and reflect on the nature of truth, while seeking to find what Scripture says to some very difficult and disturbing questions that we all ask. Each gathering will pose a different question regarding one’s search for truth, on which Pastor Jonathan Hikes will seek to provide a brief biblical response. Then the floor will be opened for discussion and further questions regarding the topic. All are welcome to attend, snacks and drinks provided.

when is the truth hunters forum?

The first Thursday of every month, from 7-8:30pm in the church’s fellowship room.

Next event: May 2nd

Our Awana Clubs are intended to point kids, ages 3 years old to 6th grade, to Jesus Christ by engaging them in the Word of Christ and creating fellowship with the people of Christ. Each week at Awana the kids will explore the Scriptures through story and Bible memory, reinforced with a game or other activity.

All kids, 3 years old to 6th grade, are welcome to join, or to just check it out for a couple weeks.

Sundays 6-7 pm, beginning September 17th. $20 Registration Fee.

If you would like to register your child for Awana, or have questions, please contact us!
